Holland Estate Board thank their Housing Support Officer, Kamal Uddin

At the Holland Estate Management Board (EMB) meeting of 8 June 2022, the board thanked Kamal Uddin for his commitment to the estate and community during his years of service to the estate.  Kamal will be leaving EastendHomes at the end of the month to take up a new role elsewhere.

The Resident Board presented an award of card, flower and gift voucher to Kamal Uddin who served their estate since EastendHomes took over the estate in 2006.

Gerry King, resident and EMB member on behalf of the EMB thanked Kamal Uddin for all his work over the past years for the Holland Estate and wished him all the best in his new role.  Gerry stressed that residents and EMB have appreciated his dedication to the estate and that his presence will be missed greatly.

Kabir Ahmed, Chair of the current Holland Estate Management Board said:

The gift was presented in appreciation of Kamal's work for the residents and estate over the past 16 years.

Kamal’s commitment to the Holland Estate is unrivalled. In particular the elderly residents and those with limited English language skills have benefited from Kamal’s bilingual skills and housing knowledge. Kamal has been a strong pillar of support.

Kamal’s knowledge of the Holland Estate community has been really useful in the way he was able to support residents.

The residents and EMB appreciated and recognised Kamal’s hard work and efforts and that this will be a great loss for the Holland Estate in having such a dedicated and knowledgeable professional leaving such a vital front-line post.
