Carter House – Lift Project
Project review:
The works required to deliver on this promise comprised the construction of two external lift shafts alongside the installation of two bespoke lifts. Working with our architects, we liaised closely with Tower Hamlets Council's planning department to ensure that the design of the new lift shaft matched the architectural character of both the estate and wider conservation area.
Delivering on the first part of our promise, building works commenced on site in early 2025 and were completed in October 2026.
A big thank you to our Project Management Team for their hard work in coordinating the project, maintaining clear communication and ensuring every detail was taken care of, right through to completion.
