'Tis the season to come together
Christmas events and activities are now taking place across EastendHomes’ neighbourhoods. Oh no they’re not… oh yes they are.
We kicked off the festive celebrations with a Stir up the Christmas Pudding Party on 29 November at the Bernie Cameron Community Centre. It’s a tradition that dates back to the Victorian era, where families and friends would gather round and ‘stir’ their homemade pudding five weeks before Christmas. There was lots of fun and many a delicious pud prepared for the big day.
The big question at Southern Grove Community Centre on 7 December was will Cinderella go to the ball? Yes, our annual Panto was back with some good old-fashioned family entertainment, lots of laughter and delicious refreshments.
On Wednesday 20 December our OAP Gala Lunch returns to Southern Grove from 1-4pm. Residents can enjoy a Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings, a quiz and lots of festive cheer.
