No barbeques on balconies

This is a message for all residents who live in flats with balconies.

The safety of residents is our priority. We know that it's tempting to fire up the barbeque in the hot weather — but never do this on your balcony.

The use of barbeques on balconies poses a serious fire risk and is strictly forbidden.

Open flames or heat sources on balconies can result in fire spreading rapidly, putting residents and the building at significant risk.

In addition, barbeques may cause hot oils, fats, or embers to drip or fall onto balconies below, creating a further risk of fire, damage, or injury to others.

Please be advised that the use of barbeques on balconies is considered a breach of your tenancy and/or lease agreement, and action may be taken where necessary.

We ask all residents to comply with this requirement to help ensure the safety of everyone in your building.
