Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) - Free Advice Sessions
Your repairs and maintenance contractor, Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) will be providing residents with a programme of free advice sessions on how to manage energy costs and support to help gain employment.

Energy Cafes
These sessions occur the first Wednesday of each month, from 11am-12:30pm online via a platform of your choice but can also be hosted in person locally at a time convenient to residents.
Lauren Kennett, Social Value Officer who runs the sessions has passed a Level 3 qualification in Energy Awareness with the National Energy Action, so is able to advise residents on the following:
- What to do if you’re struggling to pay your energy bills
- Making sure your home is energy efficient
- Keeping your home free from condensation and mould growth
- The best boiler controls for heating your home efficiently
- Grants and benefits to help you pay your energy bills
- Signposting for extra support to other agencies
Mentoring Sessions
MSPS run monthly daytime and evening mentoring circle sessions via teams.
The next evening sessions are on the 13 & 15 June, 7:30pm-9pm. The next daytime sessions are on the 21 & 22 June 10am-12pm.
The mentoring sessions which can provide help with:
- Job searching
- Creating or tailoring a CV
- Filling out job applications
- Preparing for an interview
Training
MSPS offer a range of free online courses including Administration, Customer Services, Computing, Business and more. There are no entry requirements for the courses and residents can sign up to as many courses as they would like, completing them one at a time.
There are over 600 courses available through Staff Skills Training, with some courses taking 1 hour to complete and others take up to 20 hours.
