Services during national lockdown

Following the Government announcements and a vote in Parliament, England has entered a national 'lockdown' from Thursday 5 November. Most services provided by EastendHomes will continue to be delivered as before. Residents should note the following:

  • Our housing centres remain in operation but the reception counters have been closed. Our staff will be available to provide assistance by telephone or email- see Contact us for your local contact details.
  • We aim to continue to provide a full repairs and maintenance service in conjunction with our contractor partners. You should report repairs as normal via your local housing centre. Our contractors are working in line with official guidance. If you wish to reschedule a pre-arranged appointment we will facilitate this. Servicing programmes such as gas safety inspections will continue to take place.
  • Estate cleaning will continue as normal. Our teams have protective equipment and we ask that you give them space to carry out their work safely.
  • Our refurbishment schemes which are on site will continue to operate following guidance on safe working.
  • We will continue to carry out estate inspections with a focus on health & safety checks.
  • We will continue to let homes to new tenants and carry out viewings, with measures put in place for safety.
  • Unfortunately our Community Centres will not be in operation or available for bookings for the time being.
