Hatton House residents update: loss of power and water supply

Today, Friday 15 May, r esidents of Hatton House on the St. George’s estate experienced the temporary loss of their water and power supply. The initial cause was a very small electrical fault in the communal supply on the fourth floor due to a leak. The electricity supply to the block was turned off as a precaution.

Our electrical contractor, Electroplan, attended to rectify the fault as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, it was not possible to restore power to all homes, so the electricity supply for some residents will be unavailable over the weekend. East End Homes staff have been on-site throughout the day to support residents and make arrangements for temporary accommodation where needed. Our people will be available over the weekend to offer continued assistance.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and disruption caused to residents, and we thank them for their understanding and patience. Their safety is our first priority and we expect to have completed the necessary works to resolve this unfortunate situation by early next week. This will allow UK Power Networks to reconnect the electricity supply to all homes.

If you need support over the weekend please call 0300 123 0728.
