Gas Safety Week 2021
This week (13 - 19 September) is Gas Safety Week 2021, during which the importance of gas safety and the use of registered engineers is promoted.
A theme for the week this year is 'No Excuses'. Everyone is sometimes prone to putting things off, but it is crucial to make sure that annual gas safety checks are completed. Nearly 7 million homes in the UK house potentially dangerous gas appliances.
All gas appliances within our tenanted homes will be serviced by a Gas Safe Registered engineer at least once a year. Please help us to keep you safe by allowing our engineer access at an appointment which is convenient for you. Our leaseholders are responsible for their own appliances and should arrange for regular servicing of any appliances - if a property is being rented out there are legal obligations to do so.
