Fire Safety in Your Home - updated

Following the terrible events at Grenfell Tower in west London we have understandably received a number of queries from residents regarding the fire safety of their buildings.

We would like to reassure all our residents that we take safety generally, and fire safety in particular, very seriously. Independent fire risk assessments take place at regular intervals for all our residential buildings and we actively manage the maintenance of existing fire safety systems, ensuring they are regularly tested.

EastendHomes continually reviews safety procedures and we will continue to do so once further details of today's incident become known.

Residents can also help to ensure that they play their part in fire safety. Our safety in your home page gives some details, and you can also read our Fire Safety leaflet [pdf] 807KB for more advice.

A letter is being issued to all households together with our resident newsletter in the next couple of days. You can read a copy of this letter here:  Fire Safety letter to EeH Residents [pdf] 44KB
