EastendHomes moves to new Head Office
On Monday 1st December, EastendHomes will open for business at their new headquarters based on the Holland estate in Spitalfields.
The new building has been constructed as part of the regeneration of the Holland estate which includes the refurbishment of the Denning Point tower block, other estate improvements, and the provision of an increased number of affordable homes at social rent levels for local people.
The new head office for EastendHomes will save the organisation over £130,000 a year on costs. This has been achieved by utilising the development of space on the Holland estate and enables EastendHomes to move out of rented offices on the Isle of Dogs.

The Chair of EastendHomes, Martin Young, said that “this move completes the accommodation strategy for EastendHomes which was intended to ensure that the organisation operates from its own buildings, thus saving significant costs in renting offices. It also compliments the extensive renovation work on the estate and the provision of new homes for local people. The entire scheme should be complete by early summer next year”.
