East End Homes publishes Corporate Plan 2025-28
It’s my fourth week in my role as the CEO of East End Homes and I’m very grateful for the warm welcome I’ve received from colleagues and residents. Yesterday (23 September), we launched our new Corporate Plan at our Annual General Meeting, so it’s fair to say that I’ve hit the ground running! I’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Corporate Plan, which sets out our aims for the next three years and how we’ll achieve them.
To produce this plan, we worked with and listened to our communities to ensure that the priorities we set reflected what mattered most to them:
This is all part of our commitment to involving our residents in making decisions and setting our goals.
In addition to our priorities, there are two threads that will run through all our work over the next three years and beyond:
- Value for money/efficiency - we need to build stronger financial resilience to enable us to do more of what we want to do and protect us from external challenges. Therefore, we need to consider the value for money of all our work and identify any areas for efficiency savings when considering each of our key strategic aims.
- Diversity, equity and inclusion - we need to promote a culture where residents and colleagues are treated fairly with dignity and respect, where we are open, transparent and welcoming to all.
We’ve also updated our vision, mission and values to bring them in-line with our ongoing ambition to operate as a locally based and community-led organisation.
We’ve identified nine strategic objectives in the Plan to govern our operation as a fit-for-the-future housing association that delivers services and homes tailored to your needs. We’ll work with our residents to review our progress against these objectives every three months and let you know how we’re doing.
