Board Members visit St George's estate

On Friday 19 April there was a joint visit by members of the EastendHomes Board and some of the Executive Management Team to the St George's estate. This is part of a planned programme of visits across this spring / summer to ensure that Board Members have the opportunity to visit the estates and be close to local issues.

The group visited the podium and noted the new wildflower bed planted up and maintained by resident volunteers. They also met with some of the estate caretaking team and thanked them for their sterling work.

The visit included a trip to the orchard where they saw the food recycling arrangement and met with some of the residents maintaining the area. They also visited the local St George's / Glamis Housing Centre to meet with the team there, and spoke with the concierge based at Shearsmith House.
