The event also launched the Tower Hamlets Star in the Community Awards to EastendHomes residents. The award gives local people the opportunity to nominate neighbours who go the extra mile for their community. Full details are on EastendHomes and Tower Hamlets website.

As well as having lots of fun residents shared their ideas with EastendHomes staff on how to improve services for the future.

Paul Wilson, EastendHomes Community Manager said:

“Our Residents Open Day was a great day of sharing, sharing information, sharing ideas and bringing everyone together in the glorious sun.  Many thanks to our corporate volunteers who shared their time to help make the organisation of this event a great success.” Photo from Resident Open Day 220818
