The Resident Scrutiny Panel is made up of residents whose role is to review EastendHomes services.
The panel asks questions, finds out the facts and then makes recommendations to improve the work of EastendHomes.
An Introduction to Scrutiny workshop was held at Resolution Plaza in November. The current topic chosen for scrutiny is estate cleaning, a significant service for most residents. If you would like to join the resident-led challenge of cleaning services, please email resident.involvement@eastendhomes.net
The Scrutiny Panel is independent, and reports findings to the Main Board. EastendHomes is currently recruiting additional Scrutiny Panel members.
The Panel decide themselves what they want to investigate, and EastendHomes provides full support and information to enable the review. If you have an eye for detail, you might just be what is needed in order to join other residents in reviewing services.

Tenants, resident leaseholders, and service-paying freeholders - with the exception of Main Board members and local Estate Board Members - can apply for membership of the Panel. No prior experience is needed, just an interest in improving services for residents.
