HCA Regulatory Judgement

The Homes & Communities Agency (HCA), the Government’s social housing regulator, has today published its latest Regulatory Judgement for EastendHomes.

We are delighted to report that EastendHomes has received an upgrade and now holds the highest possible ratings of G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability. Having already held the highest rating for governance, the upgrade in our viability rating reflects the HCA’s confidence that EEH’s business plan is robust enough to manage a wide range of scenarios.

Janet Seward, Chair of EastendHomes, responded by saying: "The latest Regulatory Judgement from the HCA is excellent news. I believe the HCA’s findings reflect the hard work of the Board and officers to manage an organisation which is well governed, financially sound, and in a strong position to get on with our core objectives of investing in our properties, providing well-managed homes, and delivering new social housing."
