Landlord Licensing Consultation

Tower Hamlets Council is currently consulting on proposals to introduce landlord licensing across some wards within the borough, with a view to tackling anti-social behaviour. This would mean that private landlords would need to obtain a license from Tower Hamlets Council before renting out a property to a private tenant.

With relation to homes managed by EastendHomes, this would affect residents of the Holland and Island Gardens estates.

All residents, landlords, and other interested parties are invited to take part in the consultation exercise being conducted by the council, which runs until 12th July.
