Jahangir Mannan

Jahangir is a CIPFA qualified accountant. He was born and brought up in Tower Hamlets and retains a keen interest in the borough.

Most recently he was Head of Finance and Board Director of Ascham Homes Ltd. He is now Head of Finance following the transfer of the housing stock back to Waltham Forest. He is responsible for the preparation of the statutory accounts and all corporate tax returns for the organisation as well as rent and service charges,and overall financial control. He was previously Group Accountant at LB of Barking and Dagenham and has also worked for Barnet and Tower Hamlets councils.
